B&L
B&L only produced only one model, the Indy car. Additionally, they also produced the ¼ scale Goodyear tire. The chassis was made of fiberglass and ABS. Independent suspension with all the aluminum components polished with cantilever arms going to the shocks. Engine of choice was a standard Zenoah 23cc engine with a tuned pipe. Wheels were awesome Momo style with licensed Goodyear inflatable tires. The car was driven by a belt drive.
B&L consisted of 2 people; the legendary Lance Love and Todd Bishop. They produced wheels, tires and the Indy car. By the time the Indy car was finished being built and tested, Lance decided it did not make good business sense to introduce the car to the market. Lance wanted to build NASCAR style cars, and Todd wanted to continue with the Indy line. Todd went off to build tires under the name of BRP and Lance started PRC.
To those who have seen this car in person can only say @*$%!! This is one BAD car. It really is too bad the pictures just don't do it justice. Honestly, this car is amazing to see in person. I am partial to cars with QC rear ends because they look so awesome, but for a car that is belt driven, it is every bit as beautiful as a car with a QC rear end. The body is flawless and even has a quick fill on the side like the real cars! The wheels, A-arms and every other bit of polished aluminum are mirror finish. The car is stored in a custom built wooden box and is also covered by a custom car cover. This car is really a show piece model and not an RC car. One could only dream of owning this machine!!
