Where to get reversible transmissions?

[Turbogolf]

Are there any current day RC transmissions with 2-3 speeds forwards as well as a reverse that can be adapted to be used on 1/4 scales? Better yet, is there such a transmission especially made for 1/4 scales? I've seen the pocket bike CVTs on ebay for pretty cheap and wonder if anyone has used it before. Although that tranny is still not reversible.

Nice gearboxes!
I am looking at designing gearboxes as part of my engineering degree. Whilst i won't be able to do one quickly (Could take 12 months), if you wouldn't mind giving me your requirements, I would love to design one for your application.
