New Guy Here! RACO GN

[ckulik73]

Hello everyone! This is my 1st post and introduction. I would like to give a big thanks to the creator of this board. This must be the definative place for quarterscale history and info! Much needed in that respect. I have been an RC modeler since 1984, which I think was the golden age of RC. Luck would have it that I stubled across what will be my project and reason for posting here today. I recently aquired what I have determined is a RACO GN. I found this car at our local flea-market last summer and it is now my quest to bring it back to a respectible state.

Will be posting more pics, questions, and updates in the project section of the forum. This is my 1st quarterscale model and I am very excited to have it. I have never seen one in running form with my own eyes before. I was only able to admire several of these as displays at few local hobby shops through the years. My goal is to make this a respectible running model. Not a shelf queen, but I will be showing it off!! Again thanks to everyone out there who keeps these alive and running!
