Saw this on RCU...

I have thought about those CVT's for use in Q-scale, this car has a 4:1 chain drive after the CVT, so he's getting from approx. 8:1 to 4:1 out of this setup. It's a beast!

check out the drives for the jr dragsters they have really got it figured out. Its fairly simple just a little pricey, little big but could be scaled down.
