brake for sprint car

hi all great site have been following for some time and have just registered. i am about half way though building my quarter scale sprint car and all is progressing well but i am unsure of what to do about the brake as it is a requirement in australia note sure about your rules. i would like to put a disc on the rear but am not sure how to go about it . have seen discs on the net but the calliper is the part i struggle with any ideas or sites or pictures of this kind of set up would be appreciated. thanks in advance

thanks minimax but i would sooner stick to a mechanical set up. any other ideas
