What should I be looking for when buying a transmitter

Almost all the modern 2.4 G radio systems are good these days, some people may express strong preferences for one brand or another, but they're all waaaay better than the old 27/75 band radios we used to use. I have several of the 3PM 2.4 G Futabas, never had even a small radio glitch. Here's a link to one at Tower Hobbies:
