New Car Advice Please!

Fellas, I recently picked up this 1/4 scale and admittedly I know very little. What I do know is that it is a WCM frame, 3 Z590M servos and it runs. I recently took the tires off and the throttle servo out in order to replace them. What I am asking is if everything seems to be in correct placement. (I know that there is not just 1 way to set your car up) But in general do you guys see any problems with the placement or state of anything.

p.S. Why does the brake barely work? (New brake pad on it but not much stopping power?)
