The car with the engine in it looks amazing. Does your friend enjoy driving it? It looks pretty custom. Did you make all the parts for it todd?

Mike
Yeah we made like 50 of them but only sold like 27 if I remember right. We had everything adjustable on the suspension like a full size car. With tons of options on adjustments and even had caster/camber blocks you bolted in that were preset. What we think happened is we outricked the customers. Joe Depinto from GLD Race Cars had used our suspension to build his cars, but did not adjust anything. Just told the customers they were preset.
The few that had gotten into accidents totally tore up the cars they hit. Front nose section was aluminum 1 X 2. Center section was a piece of 1 X 5 aluminum and the rear subsection was 2 pieces of 1/4 X 5 aluminum with 4 1/4 X 1/5 spacers to make the box. All were swiss cheesed on the lightening of them. If you did get into a bad enough wreck. You could have a whole suspension side ready to go and undo 3 bolts and change the left or right side front suspension.
Big
Nope. We took all the locating pieces off of them and used the thick steel plates we had built them on for other projects. Figured didn't need them anymore so used the plates off of them. Still have some of the chassis tubes but have gotten weathered and rusted. The Supers' I had built mainly by hand. Only a few parts actually had fixtures for bendind and cutting. I loved the Supers. Just most people did't because didn't have THE LOOK. I wanted fast and function and was less worried about the look.
At one time we were going to make all the frame cutting fixuters and such, but the cars started to fade and wasn't worth it to do.
How bad do you want a super? I think in my stuff I remember seeing a used chassis. Would have to find it and look it over. I know I have most of the pieces to build it, but would have to look for them to make sure. You would be lacking rearend, engine, wing, shocks and driveshaft. The remaining foam wings and the shocks I had I sold to Larry Cross. The aluminum wings I found had gotten etched from water
. Body panels would have to be hand made like I had to do. The belly panel from the Sprint fits, but that about ends there. I ran a four link setup on mine but most of the cars we sold came with wishbone suspension

I was wondering the same thing about the GN car. Do you still have parts to make the chassis minus the rear and engine?

Fred
I had emailed you on the pipes. I will try again and see what happens. The day I posted about not calling shop, was same time I sent email. I got no return on it so figured it went. I can start to dig up the parts on the GN and see what I have on them. I still have some parts for our Sprinter too around.
Qsl
I will look and see what I have for the GN car. Should be almost all since we made everything out of billet and didn't sell many.

Keep me updated on those parts, looks like a cool car to add to the collection
Also, I will post a pic, but I have a couple frames I got from Lance Love that you guys made. They look like a super mod but are sprints? Sound familiar? Maybe they are super mods? He cant seem to remember.
They dont have aluminum on the back like yours.

Todd, Bad isn't the word. What ever you can do I would GREATLY appreciate. I have a rear end, shocks, engine, and I can make the body no problem. Do you have pipes for it too? Just let me know here or email me.
Thanks, Lance

They might be our light weight sprinters we built. We didn't make that many of them. They have no down bars on front, and on the back to hold the tailtank, you had to epoxy in a cross tube through the tail tank. Been tooooooooooo darn long ago. I can't even really visualize the looks of them any more
.
Fred
I just have quit a bit of parts remaining from the sprints. What are you looking for? I can see what I got still.
Lance
Pipes not a problem. Same pipe stamping as the sprint with some different cuts in it. I have quit a few sprint pipe stampings.

Here are a couple shots of the sprints I have. I am trying to make one good one. The Red one was a new chassis that I had powdercoated.
What do you think todd?
