Shelby Cobra Australian version.
Shelby Cobra Australian version.
Hey folks, haven't been here for a while but I will post this entire build on here till complete. Next on the bench is the Shelby Cobra from Australia which I recently had for sale on ebay until they craped all over it with their new policy. Anyway, my final theme will be modeled after my 1:24 Franklin Mint Cobra. I will be starting soon on the engine then interior. Till then hope you stick around and enjoy

how is the car coming
Re: Shelby Cobra Australian version.
I usually wait for warm weather to work on projects and in between yard work. But this summer I plan on finishing the cobra along with my Daytona.

As you probably already know you have no turning radius on the Cobra. I figured out and fixed that problem.

THANKS!!
Re: Shelby Cobra Australian version.
Hi Jarhead, sorry for the late reply. Love what you did with the rear shock mount, car looks beautiful. Is that chassis entirely fabricated by you or just modified? BTW, I don't own the Australian version anymore, I sold it but in the process of starting one of my own chassis and a body I got off ebay. Love to see more of your chassis for ideas.

Re: Shelby Cobra Australian version.
I worked with a guy to make a jig to cut and weld a improved chassis.. I’m also have a skellenger rear end machined with hardened gears.. I should have them in July
Re: Shelby Cobra Australian version.
I'm going to make another Cobra chassis but this time on going with round tubing and a more robust version like the 1 to 1 from the 60s. I'm hoping to get info on freshly splashed cobra bodies on FB. Meanwhile, here's my Cobra waiting on an engine and decals I make on my cricut. BTW, can you guide me on where to find proper shocks for 1/4 scales?
