where can i find tires? make tires? Need help

Post by steve g »

Hello,
IM trying to get motivated in restoring my RACO grand national, and my fathers Delara sprint car and Alves sprint car.
When we raced all we ran was foam tires but sadly after 30 years sitting all the tires have split and rotted. I have at least 50 wheels and tires on the rack and only one or two are any good.
I have been searching all over the internet and im having no luck finding the foam to make new tires.
Any assistance is much appreciated.

This is interesting. Can you share details of the alternative material?
