Steering wheel showed up today! Thanks you know who! Mocked up the rear inside too. When looking at the chassis, its quite amazing. They built a lot into the chassis. mounts, servo mounts, etc. Pretty smart.

These parts came in today, interesting... now I need to assemble. Tricky finding the rivets. Hope they show up soon.

Re: 1/4 Jeron Ferrari Testa Rosa survivor
Hello Mike:
I remember bidding on the Jerons at Bonhmas Quail Lodge auction in August 2011.
They had :
1. a GTO engine,
2. a semi-complete GTO,
3. a GTO body buck
4. a TR body buck
5. a TR body
6. a semi complete TR
7. a Mercedes chassis with what I believe was a dummy engine.
I think all of those lots were bought by Ron Sturgeon of the DFW Toy Museum in Dallas.
Since that auction I kind of moved away from quarter scale and recently sold my Conley Viper motor castings.
When I saw this TR body a few weeks ago, I was tempted but was afraid I could not complete it.
( and just like the Viper motor castings it would sit on a shelf for years)
I am happy that it went to someone who can source the parts.
The fact that you had the name plate shows that it was fate. Re-uniting the body with the hood and trunk is amazing.
I am confident that you will find a v-12 for this model.
I don't know if the Jeron v-12 motors ever worked properly, but there are other options, such as Luther, who was already suggested

Yea. Ron did buy that stuff. I have a lead on someone that may have 2 engines and willing to part with one. Just waiting on pics to confirm.
