Race Tech Indy racer

Post by Emilio »

Hi folks, giving heads up on my Race tech Indy that will be for sale this week. This will start on ebay at 2,200.00 or if someone makes an offer here. Wheels and good year tires will not be included, I'm keeping them for one of my other 1/4 scale so please keep this in mind. Ebay will have up to date photos and a full description. Thanks for looking!

Hello Emilio,

Very nice. Can you tell us a little more about the car? How did you get the car and condition it was in.

Thanks, Anthony

Hi Anthony, I remember everything about this Indy, this was my second 1/4 scale with the Yankee GT40 being my first ever and the Gilmer was my 3rd, these were my entrée to 1/4 scale with many more to follow.

The race tech Indy was purchased in 2005 or so from the original owner who purchased 2 of the race tech Indy from the original manufacturer. The gentlemen was an elder man who wanted to sell this one to purchase his step son a few smaller scale RC cars with the money.

This Indy car has never been in an accident and was ran very lightly and minimal. It will need a nice restoration to become a shelf queen but still displays nicely aside from the thick auto body paint that has spider cracks and some chunks of paint that has come off. All in all it is in excellent condition.

Sure would be nice if people would show the car as it would be sold. It sucks when people say it doesn't come with is or that .......

Thanks Al. RFRACE I did say I will have updated photos on ebay. But in the meantime just picture the car without wheels and tires, just hubs. Thanks.

If I had money I would have swept it before you could have changed your mind. Its my favorite indy car.

Thanks bird. What I was asking on ebay was rock bottom, some folks were offering 650.00. So I decided to keep it and not waste the buyers and lookers time. With so much to chose from on ebay this won't be missed
