Re: 1/4 Scale Sprint Car Build
All i can say is i am way...way...way... behind... Sorry for the delay but i have used up most of my waking time on shop building and machine installation and getting this batch of sprint cars complete. I am to the point that i have to un-hook old machines and start moving machines that will stay into the new machine shop. I have new machines being built at this moment and all is hitting around the same time. So i am very glad my customers understand this and they expect quality from me so they are willing to wait... I will be updating the 427 engine thread also... I have most of the sprint cars back from powder coat and i am posting the one that is featured in this build. Thanks for looking!

Re: 1/4 Scale Sprint Car Build
I am fabricating several front axles and i wanted to show off the laser cut tabs i make for them. When every thing slows down and time is available i will be putting a section on my website that will have all the special tabs and brackets that can be purchased so a builder can fabricate their own parts. I realize there is a lot of people out there that can assemble bits and pieces but do not have a source for the individual items. That is no longer an issue i will be offering standard parts along with custom components for builders.

Re: 1/4 Scale Sprint Car Build
Here is one of the older machines being loaded. This has been a great machine and has put a lot of food on my table but the new machines are smaller and faster and can do more.

Re: 1/4 Scale Sprint Car Build
Along with building the chassis we design and machine our own body molds. We then send our molds out to a couple of vacuum formers that form them. Here is one of our tail section molds that is getting the final finish.
