Re: 55 chev
thanks guys. I showed this to my father and he couldn't believe it. Ive now collected some hydraulic front brakes, spindles, bulldog front hubs, a grinder drive (not sure if ill use it but its there if I need it) and a few pairs of 2 piece rear wheels. Should be a good thing when its finished.

Re: 55 chev
Thanks Mike, Im trying to find a 57 body for dad. Hes keen on getting a 57 belair, so a quarter scale one for him would only fuel his desire to buy one.Mike Casey wrote:looks really good. Nice progress!
Re: 55 chev
Caught up with a fellow quarterscaling enthusiast yesterday afternoon. He was amazed at the body as he'd never seen one before in the flesh. Through a set of wheels under it for a few photos

Looks Good Jay!
Re: 55 chev
Thanks guys. Those wheels looked good but theres another set of wheels that would look even better again........ a few other tiny thing collected but its getting there slowly.
Re: 55 chev
Very nice Jay, always great to see projects in progress of any sort, nothing beats the feeling! A nice candy color would look fantastic or, Yellow or Jet black with traditional flames Can we see the chassis progress?
Re: 55 chev
Ill be honest Ive done nothing with the chassis. just been keeping an eye out for some of the other major bits that I need, for example a set of wheels, a diff and a few other major parts. Im pretty sure Ive found a diff. Wheels Im still undecided on. If anyone has anything they would consider selling Im open to photos and prices.Emilio wrote:Very nice Jay, always great to see projects in progress of any sort, nothing beats the feeling!
