I'm baffled as well, so that's two of us. Over the years I've tried to figure it all out, but I haven't and I've given up!

Here are the tire specs. The 9x3.50-4 are on page 7.They round the numbers either up or down. And some are right on. I guess the tire industry is like the lumber industry. A 2x4 is not 2"x4".The 4.10-4 is 10.9" in dia. So it would be 11x4.10-4.But the dia. is not marked on the tire. I use to work for Goodyear 20 yrs. ago. You would think I would remember the reasoning, But no.
