1/4 Scale 1970 C3 Corvette
Re: 1/4 Scale 1970 C3 Corvette
Gorgeous!
Re: 1/4 Scale 1970 C3 Corvette
Hi Stef,
Thank you for the update.
I would prefer the body as standard, without the wide arches, unless that's not an option.
I will ask my Corvette club to see if anyone else is interested so that you can get up to the run number of 8 as you advised.
Thank you again, and hope the early C3 body shell is one step closer.
Kind regards.
Gary

I had opportunity to have a "model" at home for reference now.
it's a 69' Stingray body that will be used as plug for various stuff

I always thought this was their best style.

As a 1/4 scale the C3 is long over due same for the Thomas Cheetah. As for the 1 to 1 C3, consider yourself a constant baby sitter that feeds it funds no matter what shape it's in.

Hi Stef,
Hope you are keeping well.
Looking like the C3 is moving closer, please let me know when you think you will be producing the body shells as I am still very interested.
Thank you
Kind regards
Gary.

Hi Stef
If you need any further photos, measurements my 1970 is almost exactly the same as the one you has as a reference.
Thanks and keep safe.
Kind regards
Gary

Re: 1/4 Scale 1970 C3 Corvette
here is a new version, in 2012 I made a model to mill on a CNC, now I print a new one I made from a 3d model I bought.
I fix the errors on the model and make it printable. I will not use the printed model as bodyshell but only as a plug for my moulds.
43" long
I aslo made the chassis in 3D and found a small block to fit into, before I can afford a nitro V8...

Same here. Also a Bill Thomas Cheetah would be a 1st in 1/4 history.
