Fuel Tank on the outside or not?

Need a different eye on this as to where the tank should sit? The tank is mocked up and the gas cap will be on top not the side. Please take the poll it wont hurt at all, thanks

it is a beautiful tank, it would be a shame to hide it but then again it probably looks more scale on the inside. sorry not much help
