PRC Vacuum forming molds

Post by Mike Casey »

These are now available for sale. These are the ORIGINAL molds used to vacuum form the ABS / Lexan bodies.

-Pontiac $1000
-Tbird $1000
-Truck $2000
-Monte Carlo $1000

These cost over 10k to produce each back in the day. They are extremely heavy. Local pickup would be preferred, however we could ship by truck.

Don't have a pic of the mold handy. maybe at home? The mold is in storage right now. It makes a 90's style chevy pickup. Here is a picture of the body it produces.

Monte Carlo. This particular one was never used to produce bodies. There were some imperfections in it and it was rejected by Lance. However, it is still a pretty good part. $500!!

The one used to produce bodies is available mounted onto the board like the others for the price listed above.

It's not fiberglass. They all weigh over 200 pounds each

These are not mine. Lance Love ownes these. To produce bodies locally requires 100pc minimum. Not interested in producing any of these. Just the tooling is for sale.

Pontiac is still available. PM me and we can work out shipping details. This would need to go truck. But it can be palletized.
