To get the old tire off try soaking the tire and rim in paint thinner for a few hours. The foam will almost fall off of the rim.
I have not done this with the chrome plated rims so I don’t know if it will cause the plating to release from the nylon rim.

Re: QRS Stadium Truck
The case, it was just some old junk that was sitting around the barn, glass from a broken window and some wood from an old chair. Now it's a Skellenger display case. It still needs some Seco stickers, a stand for the knockoff hubs and some lighting inside. See, another project!

Re: QRS Stadium Truck
Mike, are you refering to this one? It's still on my project list. I made a bell housing but still need to make the aluminum half shafts, drive cups and dog bones. The Skellenger hubs will go on it when I'm finished. Gold would be cool! :) vwguru75, I under stand your dilemma, I have the same projec...

QRS Stadium Truck
I’ve been trying to get a mat finish gold anodize for my truck parts and I think I’ve got it. It almost looks like an antique gold finish. Now I just need to figure out what to do with it!
I may have to do the Skellenger next

Re: Pacesetter High Tech Sprinter
You’re right! Thank you  . I keep looking at it and thought it looked strange  . I’ll fix it. I’ve been dreaming of an all aluminum wing built like a full scale sprint car wing with a cross braced wing tree 8) . It's not stock but would look cool :) . Someone PLEASE but my car, this is ge...

Re: Pacesetter High Tech Sprinter
I can’t find any blue sheathing for the throttle and brake cable so it looks like black will be used again :( . I replaced the cheesy threaded rod that was used on the steering with something a little nicer. I hope the new owner likes it  . Will someone please buy this car so I can stop workin...

Re: Aston Martin, project.
Vass,
It’s been fun to see your project progress from a pile of cut up wood to this outstanding looking body. You have done a great job with it.
I have to say, That is one sexy looking body!

Re: Pacesetter High Tech Sprinter
I painted the pipe and added a heat shield. I need to stripe the rear wheel, I missed that one, and add blue control cables. This may be a great way to get projects finished, put the car for sale along with a list of the things it needs.  Domb1972, I'm thinking about the of...

Pacesetter High Tech Sprinter
I have a Pacesetter High Tech Sprinter for sale. It’s S/N 348705. I’m asking $750.00 for it. It’s a nice car but I have way too many projects so I have to thin some of them out. I hope the pictures show you what you want to see, if not drop me a PM and I’ll get back to you. The pipe needs to be pain...

Re: Polished PBS Car With Lexan Body and PBS rear
This is a very nice car! But you’re missing the plastic skid guards on the back of the pods :o I’m not sure if anyone realizes what was done to the front upper control arms on Dreams car. The edges have been rounded and then the arm has been roughed up to make it look like a cast part so it w...

Re: Raco GN project
Thanks Dream, The more I look at it the more I like it. :) It's full of the detail work that I like to do. I grooved the end of the control rods with the left hand thread, put spacers between the wheel bearings and used flanged hex head screws on all of the plastic parts so there would be more conta...

What Can I Do With A Raco Super Modified 2!
I was sitting here wondering what to do with my Raco Super Modified 2 cars. :? They have 20” wheel base that prevents them from fitting under anything. Then I found this….A stretched Super Modified. 8) By adding a 5” section to the front of the car It can now be used under some of the bodies that I ...
