Nanook and The Rat Trap
These are a couple of pan cars made from $50.00 of .050 alum. Nanook is powered by a CY 460 and the Rat Trap by a 71 cc Zenoah. The little one, The Mouse Trap is 1/5 scale with a 29 cc motor and Raco rear. I will finish the body work in the spring, its in the 30's here now and I don't like to spray ...

One thing that has helped me is to get a model ( 1/25, or 1/18) these are fairly accurate. I use a digital caliper and calculator to get my measurements. For 1/25 caliper measurement X( 25 /4) Use 18 for 1/18 scale

Looks like a cool project , a lot of creativity. How do you post pictures to this site? I'm working on a pair of 70's fuel altered, Nanook and the Rat Trap. Nanook is done except for paint and the Rat Trap is in process

I enjoy building my cars vs. buying them. I currently have 7 drag cars and 1 drag bike in my collection. Due to space limitations a car must be sold or used as a parts source for a new build. Hotrodz, I really like your VW altered Where did you get the body ??

I have one that has been re done with a Raco Jack rabbit front suspension and a 57cc Mcolloch saw engine. When I got it there was no front end and no motor . $500 plus shipping if your interested send me a pm with your e mail and I send you pictures

Pacesetter Grizzley rear shocks
I'm restoring a Grizzely that has many parts missing. Does any body know of a shock asorber that will work as a replacement for the origional rear shocks. I'm trying to prevent a lot of trial and error and cost with the buy and try method.
