No, the transaxle has no gears, however can be made functional. The axle spins freely and there is a clutch mount on the back of the flywheel. Please PM or email pics of interesting trades.

I think the rc4wd rear is your best option. Price is right and I think it will work with some axle length modification.

These printers can be finicky, but you will have a lot of fun. I use an old enclosed production grade one that I modified.
